Then don’t miss this unforgettable evening with fellow Optimist Club of Calgary members and guests on Tuesday\, June 9th\, 2026\, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM! \n🌟 You’re invited to a private tour and viewing at the Sam Centre\, the immersive gateway to the heart and history of the Calgary Stampede. Experience stories\, exhibits\, and behind-the-scenes magic that bring our Western heritage to life—long before the fireworks fly and rodeo dust settles. \n🤠 It’s an exciting pre-Stampede adventure packed with camaraderie\, culture\, and cowboy charm. Grab your hat and boots and join the celebration early! \nLet’s kick off the season with flair and fellowship. Yeehaw! \nLOCATION: \n\n632 13 Ave SE\, Calgary- Right across from the Calgary Stampede’s Youth Campus\nParking is located on 12th Ave and 5A St\, directly west of Sam Centre.\n\nCOST: \n\nFREE – Optimist Club of Calgary members and their guests (one guest per Optimist member)\n\nRSVP: \n\nTo reserve a ticket for you and a guest\, please email Club President Robin Bertram at robin.bertram@shaw.ca\nAll ticket reservations must be made by April 30th\, 2026.\n\nMEETING LOCATION: \n\nThe Sam Centre is closed on Tuesdays.  However\, Optimist members and guests are asked to meet at the front entrance of the SAM Centre.  We will be let in as a group.\n\nWHAT IS THE SAM CENTRE? \n\nThe Sam Centre shares the Stampede Story through multiple mediums: exhibits\, an immersive digital experience\, personally facilitated moments\, and an artifact and archival collection space.
