He is the author of Sacred Treasure: The Cairo Genizah (Jewish Lights\, 2011) and Stolen Words: The Nazi Plunder of Jewish Books (JPS\, 2016)\, and is currently writing a book about the Jewish calendar\n\nDiscussion Topic:  After the Attack\, During the War: Recollections and Reflections from a Recent Trip to Israel \n\nIn November 2023\, Rabbi Mark traveled to Israel with several of his colleagues as the only Canadian member of a rabbinic solidarity mission – his group was one of the first such delegations to visit the country after the October 7 attacks.
