DESCRIPTION:Our regularly scheduled monthly meetings give members an excellent opportunity to socialize with each other and engage with fantastic guest speakers on current topics.  Members can attend in person or via ZOOM. \nDate:  Tuesday\, April 8th\, 2025 \nLocation:  Limericks Traditional Pub\, 7304 Macleod Trail\, Calgary\, Alberta\, on the main floor (private meeting room). \nParking:  Free parking is available at the back of the restaurant. \n5:00 PM – 7 PM – Dinner and drinks available anytime after 5 PM.  To view the Limericks menu – CLICK HERE \n\nTuesday food and drink specials include a AAA Steak Sandwich for $12.99 and local YYC draught beer (18 oz) for $7.25.  Happy/Appy Hour from 2 PM to 6 PM.\n\n5:00 PM – 7 PM – Dinner and drinks available anytime after 5 PM. \n7 PM – 8:30 PM – Member Meeting (agenda to be provided in advance) \n\nJoin Zoom Meeting at 7 PM:  \n\n8:30 PM to ??? – Socializing after meeting \nGuest Speaker:  Vera Nassar\, Fund  Development Officer\, WINS (Women In Need Society) \n\nPassionate about nonprofit work\, I specialize in gift-in-kind donations\, donor services (CRM management)\, and fund development. My expertise includes coordinating third-party fundraising and enhancing donor engagement strategies. Throughout my time with WINS\, I’ve been committed to raising awareness about our impact and building meaningful donor relationships. I’m honored to play a role in the transformative work our donors make possible every day.\n\nDiscussion Topic:  “What is WINS – Available Programs\, Resources\, and Support for Women in Need” \nAbout WINS: \n\n\nWINS is a Calgary-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women and their families facing adversity\, marginalization\, homelessness and poverty.
