DESCRIPTION:Attention All Junior Golfers!                 \nAre you under 18 years of age and love golf?  If so\, here is an opportunity for you!                                  \nINFORMATION ON THE SOUTHERN ALBERTA JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT \nJoin us for the 2026 Southern Alberta Optimist Pre-Qualifier Junior Golf 18-Hole Tournament for players aged 10 to 17 on July 13th\, 2026\, at Collicutt Siding near Crossfield\, Alberta\, starting at NOON. The tournament requires contestants to walk and is governed by RCGA Rules. The Optimist Clubs in Southern Alberta are sponsoring this event. \nCOST AND REGISTRATION  \n\nThe registration fee is $75.00\, which includes tournament fees\, a sleeve of golf balls\, practice range balls\, a hot dog\, a bag of chips\, and pop\nRegister by phoning the Collicutt Siding Pro Shop at 403-946-2343.\nThe registration deadline is July 9th\, 2026\n\nFOR MORE INFORMATION:  Click here ==> Pre-Qualifier Poster 2026 \nINFORMATION ON THE 2026 DISTRICT JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT \nWinners of each Age Division with qualifying scores from the above tournament will advance without additional fees to the 18-hole Alberta\, Montana\, Saskatchewan & Northern Wyoming Optimist District Jr. Golf Tournament at the Olds Golf Club in Olds\, Alberta on August 10th\, 2026.  The tournament requires contestants to walk and is governed by RCGA Rules. \nContestants can register for the AMSNW District Championships without playing in the Pre-Qualifying Tournament.  \nINFORMATION ON 2027 OPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT \nThe winners with qualifying scores from the 2026 District Tournament mentioned above will have their registration fee paid for entry into the 2027 Optimist International Junior Golf Tournament that will be held in Florida in July 2027. That tournament is known as THE OPTIMIST and is one of the largest and best-known junior golf tournaments in the world.
