Join us for the Optimist Club of Calgary’s 2023 Oratorical Scholarship Contest competition on Saturday, March 18th from 1 PM to 3:30 PM at the Fish Creek Library (across the street on the east side of Southcenter Mall).
Under 18 participants who have already pre-registered will research, write and present a four-to-five-minute speech on the topic “Discovering the Optimism within Me” The top two winners from this contest will then be invited to compete at the 2023 Alberta Regional Optimist Oratorical Contest in Calgary on Sunday, April 23rd from NOON to 3 PM.
Fellow Optimists, family, friends, teachers, fellow students, and the general public are welcome to join us and watch the competition. It is free.
