INFORMATION ON THE DISTRICT AND WORLD ORATORICAL SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITIONS:
The meeting on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 will include the 2024 District Oratorical Scholarship Competition, where the top two participants from each of the Regional Contests in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Montana/Wyoming will be invited to participate. The person who places first in this Contest will receive a $2,500 scholarship and be invited to compete in the 2024 Optimist International World Oratorical Championships in St. Louis, Missouri, USA in July 2024. She won a $2,500 scholarship and the opportunity to compete in the Optimist International Regional / World Championships in July 2023.
