INFORMATION ON THE SOUTHERN ALBERTA JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT
Join us for the 2025 Southern Alberta Optimist Pre-Qualifier Junior Golf 18-Hole Tournament for players aged 10 to 17 on July 21st, 2025, at Collicutt Siding near Crossfield, Alberta, starting at NOON. The tournament requires contestants to walk and is governed by RCGA Rules. The Optimist Clubs in Southern Alberta are sponsoring this event.

INFORMATION ON THE 2025 DISTRICT JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT
Winners of each Age Division with qualifying scores from the above tournament will advance without additional fees to the 18-hole Alberta, Montana, Saskatchewan & Northern Wyoming Optimist District Jr. Golf Tournament at the Lakewood Golf Resort in Sylvan Lake, Alberta on August 11th, 2025. The tournament requires contestants to walk and is governed by RCGA Rules.
Contestants can register for the AMSNW District Championships without playing in the Pre-Qualifying Tournament.
INFORMATION ON 2026 OPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR GOLF TOURNAMENT
The winners with qualifying scores from the 2025 District Tournament mentioned above will have their registration fee paid for entry into the 2026 Optimist International Junior Golf Tournament that will be held in Florida in July 2026. That tournament is known as THE OPTIMIST and is one of the largest and best-known junior golf tournaments in the world. Each year, more than 600 golfers under 18 participate in this tournament.
