Introduction to Tournament Golf For Juniors Ages 6 to 12 on August 14th TENTATIVE DATE

August 14 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$25.00

Attention Parents!

Are your kids (ages 6 to 12) learning how to play golf and interested in participating in a fun tournament?

Join us for the  2023 Optimist Introduction to Tournament Golf 9-hole Event at Collicut Siding Golf Course near Crossfield, Alberta (just north of Airdrie) on  August 14th, 2024 (date is tentative).  This is a great opportunity for kids to play in the first golf tournament of their lives.

Contestants can have a family member as their caddie and/or coach.  They will walk the course using pull golf carts and play from the forward tees using winter rules.

Boy and Girl Age Divisions

Each Division will be established with approximately the same number of contestants based on age and sex. Medals will be awarded to the top three players in each Division.  Additional prizes will be awarded to the boy or girl: closest to the pin on Hole 7 and the longest putt on Hole 6.

NOTE: The date is tentative and subject to change.   For more information on the tournament including cost, please check back in the spring.
