Monthly Club Meeting Tuesday September 3rd

Our regularly scheduled monthly meetings give members an excellent opportunity to socialize with each other and engage with fantastic guest speakers on current topics.  Members can attend in person or via ZOOM.

Date:  Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024

Location:  Limericks Traditional Pub, 7304 Macleod Trail, Calgary, Alberta on the main floor (private meeting room).

Parking:  Free parking is available at the back of the restaurant.

Guest Speakers:  JS Ryu, President and CEO of National accessArts Centre and Kyllie Poppe, Coordinator of Stakeholder Relations

• The National accessArts Centre (NaAC), formerly the In-Definite Arts Society was founded in 1975. As Canada’s first multidisciplinary disability arts company, the NaAC provides artistic training, creation, and exhibition/presentation opportunities for artists with developmental, physical, and acquired disabilities.  Within the last 7 years, the Optimist Clubs in Calgary provided a substantial donation to help establish the “Optimist Gallery” at their centre, located at 8038 Fairmont Drive SE, Calgary.

Discussion Topic:
