The Optimist Club of Calgary is gearing up for our next casino fundraiser on December 15th and 16th at Ace Casino, and we’re inviting all members to lend a hand. Casino events are one of our most important fundraisers of the year—they directly support the programs and activities that make a real difference for youth in our community.
Volunteering for a shift is fun, social, and a great way to connect with fellow Optimists while helping ensure our clubs continue to thrive. If you’re able to join us for one or both days, your support would be truly appreciated and will help keep our mission strong.
Available volunteer positions include: General Manager, Banker, Cashier, Chip Runner, and Count Room.
The shifts are as follows:
Training will be provided to those who have never worked at a casino. The dress code is casual. One meal will be provided per shift. Parking is available.
