2026 Optimist Club of Calgary Member Christmas Party Thursday December 10th

Attention all Members and Invited Guests!  Celebrate the Season with Sparkle & Spirit!

You’re invited to a night of joyful connection, mouthwatering cuisine, and holiday cheer as we gather for an Optimist Club Christmas Party on Thursday, December 10th.

After last year’s spectacular celebration, we’re turning up the festive energy once again—this time with even more laughter, memories, and merriment. Reconnect with fellow Optimist Club members and their partners in a warm, friendly, and fun atmosphere.  Expect great conversations, delicious dining, and a touch of holiday magic that makes this night one to remember. Let’s toast to the season together! 🍽️🎁

Location:  Austrian Canadian Cultural Centre – 3112 11 St NE, Calgary

Schedule of Events:   Cocktails at 5:30 PM, Dinner at 6:15 PM, Socializing at 7:30 PM

Dress Code:  Business Casual

Dinner Menu:

• Dinner Rolls & Butter cups
• Romaine salad (feta cheese, apples, cabbage) with Apple Cider Dressing
• Roasted Turkey with Cranberry Sauce, Italian Sausage or Stone Fruit Stuffing, Turkey Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, and Seasonal Vegetables
• Austrian Apple Strudel with fresh Whipped Cream -or- Pumpkin Pie

Cost: 

• $25 per person for an Optimist Club of Calgary member and their spouse or guest
• $50 per person for Dinner Optimist Club members or any non‑member

Deadline to RSVP and pay:

• Please e-transfer Lyle Bennett, Club Treasurer, $25 per person for members and their spouse/guest ($50 per person for non-club guests) to treasurer.optimistclubcalgary@gmail.com no later than Sunday, November 29th, 2026

Please note:  Consider bringing an unwrapped Christmas gift for a child or youth.  We will arrange for these to be dropped off at a Toy Mountain location in Calgary.
