Do you like to volunteer? If so, here is a great opportunity for you.
The Alberta International Band Festival (AIBF) is looking for several volunteers to help out at their upcoming Concert Band event which runs from Wednesday, February 21st to Tuesday, February 27th at the University of Calgary’s Roza Centre (on campus).
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:
- Room Host – announcing the performances and sponsors (from a script)
- Band Host – helps our groups navigate the venue by leading the group from one area to the next
- Registration Desk – manning the administration desk as bands check in
No experience is necessary and training will be provided
SHIFTS:
- Wednesday, February 21st – 8:15 AM to 1 PM or 12:30 PM to 5:15 PM
- Thursday, February 22nd – 8:15 AM to 1 PM or 12:30 PM to 5:15 PM
- Friday, February 23rd – 8:15 AM to 1 PM or 12:30 PM to 5:15 PM
- Saturday, February 24th – 8:15 AM to 1 PM or 12:30 PM to 5:15 PM
- Sunday, February 25th – 8:15 AM to 1 PM or 12:30 PM to 5:15 PM
- Monday, February 26th – 8:15 AM to 1 PM or 12:30 PM to 5:15 PM
- Tuesday, February 27th – 8:15 AM to 1 PM or 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Please review the available slots and sign up by clicking the button below. You are welcome to sign up for more than one slot, including consecutive slots (ex: morning and afternoon on the same day).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This event is for Concert Bands only. AIBF is also holding an event for Jazz Bands from March 5th to 8th, 2024
- Parking will be covered (Park in the Art Parkade and bring your receipt) and lunch will be provided.
