Monthly Club Meeting Tuesday February 11th

February 11 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Our regularly scheduled monthly meetings give members an excellent opportunity to socialize with each other and engage with fantastic guest speakers on current topics.  Members can attend in person or via ZOOM.

Date:  Tuesday, February 11th, 2025

Location:  Limericks Traditional Pub, 7304 Macleod Trail, Calgary, Alberta on the main floor (private meeting room).

Parking:  Free parking is available at the back of the restaurant.

Food and Drink Specials:

  • Tuesday food and drink specials include a AAA Steak Sandwich for $12.99 and local YYC draught beer (18 oz) for $7.25.  Happy/Appy Hour from 2 PM to 6 PM.

7 PM – 8:30 PM – Member Meeting (agenda to be provided in advance)

  • Join the ZOOM Meeting at 7 PM

8:30 PM to ??? – Socializing after meeting

Guest Speaker:  Lori Williams – Political Scientist, Professor, Journalist, and TV Commentator.

Discussion Topic:  “Everything Politics Including the Upcoming 2025 Federal Election”

Lori teaches in the Department of Economics, Justice, and Policy Studies at Mount Royal University. Her research and teaching interests include Canadian politics, women and politics, law, Charter rights, political philosophy, ethics, power, and technology, including social media.
